GWO Working at Heights & Manual Handling Module: Safety and Efficiency Combined

Ensure your team operates safely and effectively at height and on the ground with our comprehensive BST Working at Heights & Manual Handling Module.

This module delivers essential theoretical and practical training, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to work safely in a wind turbine environment. We focus on the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe working practices at height, and comprehensive basic rescue techniques using our custom made working at heights rig. Furthermore, we emphasise positive manual handling and ergonomic behaviours to prevent injuries and promote efficiency.

Key Benefits:

  • Enhanced Safety at Height: Master the use of basic PPE and learn safe working procedures to minimise risks.
  • Comprehensive Rescue Skills: Gain the ability to perform basic rescues from height in a wind turbine environment.
  • Positive Manual Handling Techniques: Develop ergonomic awareness and learn to perform manual handling tasks safely, reducing the risk of injury.
  • Practical Application: Reinforce theoretical knowledge with hands-on training and realistic simulations.
  • Responsible Behaviour: Foster a culture of safety and responsibility when working at height and performing manual handling tasks.

Upon successful completion of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Act safely and responsibly when working at height.
  • Apply good manual handling techniques in a wind turbine environment.
  • Perform comprehensive basic rescues from height.

Important Note: This module is designed to provide safety training and rescue skills, not to assess or overcome a fear of heights. Participants should already possess the necessary aptitude for working at height.
