What is the Emergency First Aid at Work course?
The Emergency First Aid at Work course delivers a practical set of skills needed by first aiders in most workplaces. The course meets the standards set out by the Health and Safety Regulations (1981) and the comprehensive teaching creates a confident and skilled first aider in the workplace.
Who should attend the Emergency First Aid at Work course?
This course is a comprehensive introduction to first aid designed for people who want to become skilled and confident in emergency first aid. It is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments such as shops and offices.
If you work in an environment which identifies additional hazards and risks such as health conditions, then we recommend the First Aid at Work course which covers a more comprehensive range of injuries and illnesses.

Training can also be done onsite to minimize any disruption and extra cost.
Assessment and Certification: All of our Emergency First Aid at Work courses are delivered and assessed by medical professionals that have worked within the industry. Assessment is ongoing throughout the course that will include both practical and straight forward written exams.
After completing a final assessment successful candidates receive an HSE recognized certificate valid for three years.
This emergency first aid at work course is legally compliant with the current Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981. Upon successful completion of this one day course, first aiders receive certification to allow them to practise for three years after which a re-qualification course becomes necessary. It is strongly recommended that you update your skills by taking an annual refresher.
