Welcome to South West Maritime Academy!  We are still looking to expand our growing team of experts with new guest authors within the medical and maritime industries.

This is your chance to be part of an exclusive team with exciting business development plans ahead of us.

As a guest author we are looking for you to help fill our site with interesting and informative articles and opinions.  We want original, interesting and exciting posts within South West Maritime Academys specialist areas, from personal experiences to news and reviews.

Our favourite articles cover new and innovative areas that have not been done a hundred times!  We encourage creativity, artwork, photos, info graphics, videos, anything topical, funny writing and anything specifically useful to those in the industry.

So what’s in it for you? Well if the pleasure of sharing all your knowledge and experience with us is not enough, we will be linking you back to your own article and Twitter profile from your authors signature.  We will also be running exclusive competitions with some exciting and unique prizes for our best authors.

There is a style guide and a few starting pointers below to give you an idea of what we are after.  Once you have started let the creative juices flow and let your imagination run wild!  Just send us an email with your ideas and we will get back to you as soon as we are able.

If you are interested and would like to discuss this further please email us using the contact form

Guest blogging rules

So you would like to write a article for South West Maritime Academy and share all your experiences?  Before you begin here are a few rules that we would like you to bear in mind whilst writing your article.

1. As we are a family friendly site there are a few things which cannot be included:

Swearing
Intolerant or offensive language and views
Graphic sexual references

2. We understand that sometimes something is found to be terrible so you are desperate to give it a bad review and we understand that, but anything deemed a direct attack on an individual or organisation is not acceptable.

3. No direct product placement is to be used.

4. We understand you have put time and effort into writing a quality article for us. You will get all the credit for that, so we are more than happy to allow a link to your article and/or twitter page in your author bio.

5. But please try and avoid stuffing your posts full of links which we have to then spend time removing.

6. These articles are all about allowing you to show your work and gain exposure in your expert field but unfortunately we cannot allow links to corporate/sales sites.

7. Only original content that can be backed up will be published.

8. South West Maritime Academy Ltd will have the final say as to whether a article is deemed suitable to be published, but follow these guidelines and you can’t go wrong!
