Due to vast expansion all open FPOSI courses are on hold. These will resume in the summer whereby we will have purpose built facilities to enhance the training.

We are however still taking company block bookings.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

What is the FPOS Intermediate course?

South West Maritime Academy are pleased to be able to offer a specialist course with the IHCD EDEXCEL FPOS intermediate qualification. This course is designed to take the first aider to the next level and is ideal for those looking at becoming Community First Responders to those working as Close Protection Operators or Maritime Security Operators within hostile environments.

Benefits and Features

All of our FPOS intermediate training course instructors are practising health care professionals, most carrying a minimum of Paramedic status. We feel this makes the difference from other courses available, as students can draw on the extensive personal experience of their instructors.
