What is the CPR and AED course?

Our Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) course more commonly known as CPR and AED training builds on the skills learned in the Primary Care (CPR) course to teach the proper AED use. This life saving device can increase a patient’s chance of survival from a cardiac arrest by fifty percent. During this course you’ll review the basic principles of Primary Care (CPR) and learn how to deploy and use an AED in an emergency situation.

Our first aid at work courses cover the practical skills needed by a first aider in the modern workplace. The course will give you the confidence and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies.

This course contains some exercises that are physically demanding. Any candidate unsure of their fitness for such activities should consult their doctor.

Prerequisites: None

Duration: 4 hours

Cost: £40 per person. This includes all manuals, certification. Please note all price are exclusive of VAT.

Location: Kings Weston House, Kings Weston, Bristol, BS11 0UR

Training can also be done onsite to minimize any disruption and extra cost.

Certification: After completing a final assessment successful candidates receive an approved certificate.

It is strongly recommended that you update your skills by taking an annual refresher.
